Every summer, over a hundred children attend various week-long programs at the Foundation. We offer programs for children ages 4 through 15 in a wide variety of conservation topics. Each week focuses on a special theme that incorporates adventure, exploration, and recreation in the forests, prairies and wetlands on the property. Great care is put into ensuring that the programs are filled with fun and meaningful activities. Previous programs include: Wild Creations, Outdoor Adventures, Biodiversified, Food for Thought and Wee Creatures. New and different programs are created each summer so your child can visit the Foundation year after year and always learn and experience new things.
All instructors are college educated with over 30 cumulative years teaching experience. There are always at least two instructors with the children during the week, and each is CPR and First Aid certified. To ensure a quality experience, group size is limited to 15 children.
