We offer many professional development opportunities for educators interested in learning and teaching about the conservation of our natural resources. Workshops are offered throughout the year and will be posted on this web page. Many of the workshops we offer are for learning about and using, well tested curriculums that are nationally known. We currently have an upcoming Facilitator’s Workshop for the Leopold Education Project. Details are listed below.
We also develop unique workshops to address specific needs of educators in the northeastern part of Illinois. If you have a need for knowledge about conservation issues, we may be able to help. To arrange a unique workshop for you and your colleagues, call us at (847) 428-2240.
Teacher Recertification
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has approved the Foundation as a certified provider of CPDU’s and CEU’s. When you participate in educational activities sponsored by us, you will earn either CPDU’s or CEU’s depending on the scope and depth of the activity.
